The world is filled with chaos and confusion. To various extents, we all put our faith in worldly voices and sources, but there is only one message that is completely trustworthy and deserving of our full acceptance and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.⠀

The truth is, humans are not inherently good. We are all born sinners. All sin leads to death and the eternal penalty for sin is hell. It may seem harsh to us, but our God is perfectly righteous and just. Sin is such a normal part of our lives, we don’t fully understand just how awful and disgusting it is to a perfect and holy God.⠀

Yet miraculously, our Father in Heaven still loves us. 🖤⠀

We were dead in our sins, without hope. But, the Father sent His perfect, blameless Son to die a brutal death on a cross and pay the penalty for sins past, present, and future. He rose from the grave, overcoming sin and death, promising eternal life to all who put their faith in Him.⠀

Putting our faith in Christ, means following Him. It’s not just something we casually say we believe and go about living our lives in our own way. The Bible says even the demons believe. So, what’s the difference? ⠀

When we genuinely put our faith in Christ, admitting we are sinners in need of a Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit – the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead! He is the mark of a true believer and enables us to put our faith into action.⠀

When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are saved. The penalty for our sins is paid, we are declared righteous in God’s sight, and we have assurance of salvation! 🙌🏻🙌🏽🙌🏿 As we grow in our faith and become more Christ-like in the way we think and in the things we do, this is the evidence of the Holy Spirit working in our hearts and lives – evidence of a heart transformed by the Gospel.⠀

This is the one message we can trust in 100%. We don’t have to question it like we question the news, opinions, various influencers, and leaders. Our God does not lie, He does not twist the truth. He always keeps His promises and He never changes. ⠀
